- ferrous bromide method: in a reactor containing water, iron chips are added, bromose is added in batches under stirring, the reaction is carried out at 40 ℃ to generate ferrous bromide, and calcium hydroxide is added to adjust the pH value, after heating to boiling, the ferrous hydroxide is removed by cooling and separation. The filtrate is evaporated, cooled to 30 °c and allowed to stand, decolorized, filtered, evaporated to about 210 °c, and then cooled, calcium bromide was prepared.
- Direct method: ammonia gas is passed into lime milk, bromine is added, reaction is carried out at 70 ℃ and below, filtration is carried out, and the filtrate is kept under alkaline conditions to drive out ammonia, stand, decolorize, and the filtrate is concentrated, A finished calcium bromide product was prepared.
